We pull live comparable listings for the same year and model from Cars.com and combine them with analysis of the listing itself. Market values are estimates, not appraisals — so we show you the individual cars behind the range, with their mileage and price, and tell you whether they were the same trim and how much we deducted for damage visible in the photos. When we cannot find a set we trust, we say the value could not be established rather than guessing.
